HOUSTON – Shell has awarded the jackup Rowan Gorilla VI a contract extension in Trinidad.
The rig will continue its current drilling program until about March 2019. Thereafter, theRowan Gorilla VI will be used for platform support and accommodations work until approximately September 2019, with an option to extend this work further until November 2019.
TheRowan Gorilla VIis a Super Gorilla class jackup.
