PERTH, AustraliaWoodside Energy has removed the FPSONganhurra from the depleted Enfield oil field, 50 km (31 mi) northwest of Exmouth, Western Australia. Production from Enfield had started in June 2006: over the next 13 years it delivered more than 80 MMbbl.

Operations through the FPSO, built by Samsung on Geoje Island, ceased on Nov. 7, and disconnection followed four weeks later.

The 270-m (886-ft) long double-hulled vessel will lay up in Labuan, Malaysia. Woodside said its condition was good enough to warrant re-use on another field.
