DUBAI, UAE – Polarcus has secured industry pre-funding and an environmental permit for a broadband 3D marine seismic project in the Vulcan sub-basin offshore northwest Australia.
This extension of the Cygnus multi-client 3D survey is designed to help resolve the area’s complex geology through application of Polarcus’ XArray acquisition methodology.
Acquisition will start later this month and continue for roughly four weeks. The company previously announcedoffshore Australia campaigns will now begin in 2018 and continue into 2Q.
