BERGEN, Norway — Petrobras has awarded long-term charter and service contracts to Norskan Offshore Ltda. and DOF Subsea Servicos Brasil.
The Skandi Amazonas is chartered for three years firm with extension options to operate as an anchorhandler tug supply vessel (AHTS), following adaptations. It should be delivered by mid-June.
Skandi Rio (206 t BP), currently operating for Petrobras and equipped with DOF Subsea’s work class ROV, will now work for the operator for a further four firm years as an AHTS with ROV, starting in the third quarter.
DOF estimates the combined value of the contracts at more than $192 million.
