    FPSO for GTA gas project to continue voyage to Mauritania and Senegal

    The FPSO, which departed Singapore last week, will service the Greater Tortue Ahmeyim (GTA) Phase 1 project site on the maritime border of the two nations.

    DALLAS, Texas — Last week the FPSO for the Greater Tortue Ahmeyim gas project (GTA) departed from Singapore to continue its voyage to Mauritania and Senegal, Kosmos Energy announced on its LinkedIn. The FPSO will service the GTA Phase 1 project site on the maritime border of the two nations.

    Kosmos posted, "GTA has the potential to be a significant source of revenue and domestic energy for both countries. With first gas targeted for the end of fourth-quarter 2023, stay tuned for the project milestones ahead."
