KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia — Britain’s North Sea Transition Authority has approved Anasuria Hibiscus UK’s request to extend the second term of offshore license P2451 to Sept. 30, 2026.
One condition of the 30-month extension is that the company must have achieved an approved field development plan and production consent by the expiry date.
Anasuria Hibiscus has a 42.5% interest, in partnership with Ping Petroleum UK (42.5%) and Rapid Oil Production (15%). They plan a 10-mile tieback of the 75-MMboe Fyne oil and gas discovery to the Anasuria FPSO.
