Offshore staff
NORWICH, UK — Aquaterra Energy will provide offshore riser equipment and services for the decommissioning of eight wells in 80 m water depth offshore Abu Dhabi to an unnamed major operator, working in partnership with TPMC.
The work is due to be completed by 2028.
Aquaterra will provide a completion and workover riser system fitted with AQC-CW connectors, an additional subsea riser system, tieback engineering and rig modifications under a comprehensive engineering service.
The completion and workover riser system is certified to BS EN ISO 13628-7 2006, designed to operate in water depths of up to 1,500 m and can withstand repeat make and breaks, while ensuring a gas tight metal-to-metal seal.
The company will work with local partners to manufacture and transport the equipment.
