ExxonMobil (NYSE:XOM) has contracted the Transocean Deepwater Frontier for work offshore Australia on the Jansz-Io drilling project at the Gorgon LNG project.

Samsung Heavy Industries has contracted Wood Group Mustang for the topsides detailed engineering and procurement support for the semisubmersible central processing facility (CPF) in the Ichthys field development offshore Western Australia. 

Chevron Australia has awarded Technip a €245-million ($322-million) contract for subsea facilities for the Wheatstone project.

INPEX has contracted Technip to supply flexible pipes for the Ichthys gas field development in the Browse basin off northwest Australia.

Santos has contracted Technip for flexible subsea pipes for the Fletcher Finucane oil field development off Western Australia.

Apache has awarded GE Oil & Gas (NYSE:GE) a $150-million contract for subsea equipment for the Julimar development offshore Western Australia.  

Woodside Energy (WPL:AU/WOPEY:US) says construction of the Pluto LNG foundation project in northwest Australia is in its final stages.

Hess has contracted INTECSEA and WorleyParsons to provide front-end engineering and design (FEED) for the Equus project in the WA-390-P permit on Australia’s Northwest Shelf.

The JKC joint venture has signed the formal $15-billion contract for engineering, procurement, and construction at the Ichthys LNG Project offshore Australia.
