Bassoe Technology

Bassoe Technology, a specialist in the design of mobile offshore units, provides design, engineering support, and site supervision. The company’s current projects concern the BT-7000 drilling semi and two tender barges contracted for fabrication at Lamprell for BassDrill Inc., another company within the Bassoe group. The barges have been designed by BT and approved by ABS with class notation A1 Unrestricted Service Barges, and are compliant with the latest amendments to the MODU and Solas codes.

Esab

Esab’s commitment to shipbuilding and the offshore sector dates to 1904, when Swedish engineer Oscar Kjellberg founded the company. He developed the first flux-coated MMA electrode to solve a problem related to ship and boiler repairs. Today the company specializes in welding and cutting solutions, including welding consumables for all processes, integrated cutting systems, narrow gap welding, CTOD requirements, and duplex steels.
