LONDON -- EnCana has awarded Expro a surface testing and subsea landing string service contract for the Deep Panuke field offshore Nova Scotia, Canada.
The six-month contract covers construction support for four development wells along with surface well test and landing string equipment, and related support services.
Preparatory work is complete and equipment has been delivered to Nova Scotia, the company says. Once operations begin, the jackup Rowan Gorilla III will deploy the equipment to the field.
The custom-designed landing string will facilitate subsea completions operations from the jackup, allowing safe access to the wells.
