MELBOURNE, Australia -- Petroleum Geo-Services Australia (PGS) has completed processing of the 250 sq km (97 sq mi) Artemis 3D seismic survey in WA-360-P for MEO Australia.

The survey, acquired in the offshore Carnarvon basin in Western Australia, is expected to help delineate the northern extent of the Artemis prospect, which was identified on MEO’s existing 2007 3D seismic survey. Interpretation of the Artemis 3D seismic survey will help de-risk the Artemis prospect ahead of a 2010 exploration well drilling commitment, the company says.
