VANCOUVER, Canada — Trillion Energy International has achieved strong results from its latest well on the SASB gas field in the Black Sea offshore Turkey.
West Akcakoca-1, the fourth well in the multi-well campaign, delivered 55 m of potential natural gas pay within six sands in the Akcakoca member, according to LWD data analysis. The data are consistent with the initial mud show results.
Later this week, the 7-inch production casing will be run in and cemented. Initial perforation intervals are being selected to bring the well into production, with completion and flow testing taking place once the well is perforated.
The rig will then be skidded back to complete the Guluc-2 well, which should in turn come onstream by the end of this month.
Trillion CEO Arthur Halleran said the company had significantly increased SASB’s proven reserves through the drilling program to date.
