Kongsberg establishes new division

KONGSBERG, Norway -- Kongsberg Maritime has established a new division dedicated to system engineering and integration.
The new division, called Kongsberg Maritime Engineering, will offer an engineering and management service,specializing in Electro Instrumentation & Telecommunications (EIT) engineering and system integration, Engineering Procurement & Construction (EPC) contracting, project management, and site management
"The formation of Kongsberg Maritime Engineering is a natural progression of the services we already provide in the offshore and oil and gas sectors," says Torfinn Kildal, president of Kongsberg Maritime. "We have a proven track record of executing safe, successful projects, completed within requirements, with no compromise on safety or quality. The formation of this new division will enable us to play a wider engineering and integration role on a formal basis for existing and new customers."
