Rigdon Marine delivers Slap Shot

HOUSTON -- Rigdon Marine has christened and delivered the 4000-class platform supply vessel (PSV), Slap Shot.
The Slap Shot is a diesel electric, DP-2 PSV, which features a capacity of 4,000 bbl of liquid mud in an oval, self cleaning, segregated tank system. The PSV also includes three Z-Drives and two large forward tunnel thrusters. The Rigdon 4000-class PSVs are capable of serving a wide array of marine applications in all water depths.
The remaining two Rigdon 4000-class PSVs are expected to be delivered by the end of August 2008.
