Petrofac opens Stavanger office

LONDON -- Petrofac's facilities management business has opened an office in Stavanger.
Thomas Knutsen has been appointed business manager to head up the Norwegian operation, which has been established by Petrofac's Brownfield team. The organization offers engineering and construction services for major modifications to existing oil and gas installations.
"Expanding in Norway is key to our continued success and development," says Bill Bayliss, VP of Petrofac Brownfield. "Norway has a vibrant oil and gas sector and committing to the country better places us to make the most of the opportunities available."
