Talisman to use Mærsk Giant on Varg field

STAVANGER -- Talisman Energy Norge has been granted consent for the use of the mobile facility Mærsk Giant for production drilling.
The consent applies to drilling and completion of the sidestep wells 15/12-7 A and 15/12-8 A on the Varg field (production license 038). Varg is located in the southern North Sea, about 230 km (143 mi) southwest of Stavanger.
The drilling activity will be carried out in the first half of 2008.
