More Ekofisk developments possible

TANANGER, Norway – ConocoPhillips has called for a front-end engineering and design contract for possible Greater Ekofisk Area developments.
The FEED scope of work includes integrating a new Ekofisk accommodation platform, a new wellhead platform including subsea water injection facilities, and two new platforms, pipelines, and cables to tie-in the new facilities to existing platforms.
ConocoPhillips says pre-qualifications are complete and contract award is expected this year.
