Petrobras signs LOI for 2D survey off Portugal

OSLO, Norway -- Petrobras International Braspetro BV -- Portugal Branch has signed a Letter of Intent with SCAN Geophysical ASA for an 8,500 km (5,282 mi) long-offset 2D seismic survey offshore Portugal.
The M/V Geo Searcher is scheduled to begin the survey by the end of June using a 10,000 m (6,214 mi) long gel-filled streamer and a 4,000 cu in. (65,548 cu cm) source array targeting low-frequency output.
