BP contracts North Sea development work to Technip

PARIS -- BP has awarded Technip an exclusive frame agreement to provide diving construction services for work in existing development projects in the North Sea. The contract runs for two years with a one-year option.
Technip in Aberdeen will provide the services, which can include project management, engineering, dive support, umbilical installation, subsea structure installation up to 200 tons, and deepwater riser installation for West of Shetland developments.
