    Subsea7 removing subsea equipment from Bijupirá, Salema fields

    LUXEMBOURG — Subsea7 will decommission subsea infrastructure for the Shell-operated FPSO Fluminense, which serves the Bijupirá and Salema fields in the Campos Basin offshore Brazil.

    The work will include disconnection, recovery and disposal of 10 flexible risers, three umbilicals and nine mooring lines in 700 m water depth, with the offshore campaign due to start next month.

    Subsea7 originally installed the flexibles and umbilicals 20 years ago.
