Steerprop, based in Rauma, Finland, was formed last September as a spin-off from Aquamaster Rauma, following the latter's takeover by Rolls-Royce.

Kværner Masa-Yards

Kværner Masa-Yards operates two shipyards in Finland and is experienced in designing and building special tankers, gas carriers, FPSOs, FSOs, ice-going vessels, and other ships for the offshore oil and gas industry. Design and engineering services, such as ship design, consulting engineering, R&D, and project evaluation, are offered through the independent company Kværner Masa-Yards technology in Finland and Kværner Masa Marine, based in the US and Canada. The Technology unit's Arctic Technology Group has more than 30 years' experience in developing marine projects for Arctic regions.

Larox Flowsys

Larox pinch valves have been engineered for abrasive and aggressive on/off and control slurry applications. The company's products are used widely in bulk and mud handling, drilling mud, cementing template units, cement and bulk carriers, produced water, cyclones and hydrocyclones, underwater sandblasting, firewater isolation, seawater, sanitary service, and sewage treatment applications. Claimed technical advantages include lower capital costs and ease of maintenance. Larox valves are manufactured according to ISO 9001 and also have DNV Type Approval for offshore and ship use.

Rautaruukki Steel

Rautaruukki Steel manufactures and markets hot-rolled plate products, plate components as dished ends and heavy tubes, and profiles. The production program includes high quality steels for shipbuilding and offshore industry engineering workshops and the building and construction industry. The company aims to be flexible, also supplying in small batches. Products can be tailored with regard to tolerances, composition, and product application. The company says it is a fast and reliable supplier.

Vacon

Vacon is an independent drives manufacturer specializing solely in environmentally-positive frequency converters in the 0.2kW to 4MW power range, supporting open automation and international standards. Its drives also feature liquid cooling technology and are available worldwide through a multi-channel, multi-brand distribution network. The new NX range features a hardware and software modularity, which facilitates customization and incorporation into any machine or system (winches, thrusters, pumps, cranes, and cable-laying machines).
