Offshore staff
HOUSTON– The US offshore rig count is 31, up two rigs from last week. The total is down 25 rigs year over year.
Thetotal US rig count is up one rig from last week to 863, with oil rigs up five to 645, gas rigs down two to 217, and miscellaneous rigs down two to one.
That total is down 1,012 rigs from last year at 1,875, with oil rigs down 918, gas rigs down 94, and miscellaneous rigs unchanged.
TheCanadian rig count is up 30 rigs from last week to 169, with oil rigs up 19 to 91, and gas rigs up 11 to 78.
The total Canadian rig count is down 146 rigs from last year at 315, with oil rigs down 87, and gas rigs down 59.
