TEL AVIV, Israel – Delek Group’s gas subsidiaries have accepted a request from Cypriot governmental gas company DEFA.
This concerns anextension of the period of validity of a proposal to supply gas through pipelines from the deepwater Leviathan field offshore Israel.
The validity now runs through Oct. 31, 2015.
Accordingly, Delek expects the commercial examination process and negotiations between DEFA and the bidders to continue in the near future.
