SINGAPORE–Following its March announcement of a $7.2-million award for its KS Java Star jackup, KE Energy Ltd. has now said that the rig contract has been terminated.
The company said the unnamed client canceled the contract following the parties’ inability to agree on a start date.
The vessel was scheduled to begin work in March 2015, according to KS Energy’s original announcement in the same month.
