    A 17,000-sq km (6,564-sq mi) 3D seismic survey is under way over the Stabroek block offshore Guyana, according to partner Hess.

    NEW YORK – A 17,000-sq km (6,564-sq mi) 3D seismic survey is under way over the Stabroek block offshore Guyana, according to partner Hess.

    Earlier this year operator ExxonMobil announced a large oil discovery from theLiza #1 well. The partners are currently evaluating the block’s resource potential.
