ASKER, Norway –Polarcus has completed acquisition of an initial 3D seismic survey for TGS in the southeastern part of the Norwegian Barents Sea.
In line with a letter of award (LOA) announced onApril 9, TGS has elected to extend the charter of the Polarcus Adira 3D seismic vessel to acquire a further 3,000 sq km (1,158 sq mi) of multi-client 3D seismic in the Norwegian Barents Sea. Beginning immediately after the TGS' current charter, the second charter is expected to run for two months.
