Offshore staff
HOUSTON – Saudi Aramco has contracted McDermott International (NYSE:MDR) to supply 12 platform jackets on producing offshore oil and gas fields in Saudi Arabian waters.
It follows Aramco’s award ofanother brownfield contract to McDermott in March for a replacement offshore power supply system.
The contractor expects to construct the jackets at its complex in Dubai, with engineering and procurement performed in Dubai and Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia.
Vessels from the company’s global fleet will manage the offshore installation work.
