    IOG to conduct 3D seismic remap of North Sea portfolio

    Independent Oil and Gas (AIM:IOG.L) has begun a 3D seismic remapping project over its southern North Sea gas portfolio.

    LONDON –Independent Oil and Gas (AIM:IOG.L) has begun a 3D seismic remapping project over its southern North Sea gas portfolio.

    IOG will do the remapping in three phases:

    1. Core SNS area including Elgood, andBlythe
    2. Skipper oil license area
    3. Prospective SNS area including Truman, Harvey, and Hambleton.

    “We are delighted to progress this essential remapping work with the geophysical experts at Baker Hughes RDS,” said Mark Routh, CEO and interim executive chairman. “If successful, and subject to a new CPR and funding, our 2P reserves could be more than doubled.”
