BERGEN, Norway –DeepOcean has contracted Fugro to provide satellite positioning.
Fugro will supply DeepOcean with three completely independent decimeter Global Navigation Satellite Systems. Fugro’s new Starfix.G2+ system and Fugro’s Starfix.G4 satellite correction service are part of the contract delivery.
TheDeepOcean fleet also will have state-of-the-art hardware and software developed by Fugro to provide independent positioning for each vessel.
