Last year the company added six vessels: the DP-2 PSVsTopaz Seema, Topaz Xara, Topaz Faye, Topaz Megan, Topaz Isra, and Caspian Voyager.

Three new vessels are under construction – one PSV, one emergency rescue vessel (both due to enter service this year), and one anchor handler/tug supply vessel.

In the Azeri sector of the Caspian Sea, two vessels are lined up to work on the Shah Deniz-2 project in Azerbaijan. Demand is also strong in the Kazakh sector, driven by work to repair the shallow-water pipeline serving theKashagan project.

Topaz has sold one of its older vessels, theMuscat, a fixture in the Middle East/North Africa region.

Elsewhere, the company is developing partnerships in an attempt to secure medium- to long-term contracts for Topaz vessels offshore Nigeria and Angola.
