KONGSBERG, Norway – Saipem has awarded Kongsberg Oil & Gas Technologies a contract to deliver subsea structures for the gas export pipeline at the INPEX-operated Ichthys LNG Project.
The scope of work involves adjustable pipe support structures (APS). The APSs will support the pipeline and bring it to the required height and orientation at the end termination. Kongsberg will do the engineering, procurement, construction, and delivery, while Saipem will do the installation.
The design is under way, and the APS are scheduled for testing and installation by the end of July.
