OSLO, Norway –Valiant Driller, owned by Jackup Drilling Pte. Ltd., has completed transportation from Indonesia on the COSCO heavy-lift vessel Xian Yun kou, following a float-on operation at the Port of Batu Ampar, Batam, Indonesia.
After the heavy-lift vessel reached India, the rig was wet towed to a platform drilling location at theMumbai High oil field offshore western India.
Aqualis Offshore was the marine warranty surveyor on behalf of the rig owner, and supported the operation by conducting independent reviews of the engineering, marine procedures, and on-site approvals of marine activities. The rig move was managed by Aqualis Offshore’s office in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
