BUCKINGHAM, UK –SBM has ordered flow meters from Litre Meter to use with chemical injection aboard a Petrobras FPSO. The custom low-flow meters are designed to measure flow of scale inhibitor.
Each meter is calibrated for low flow at 20 l/h (5.3 gal/h) with a viscosity of 27 cP. Each is also pressure rated to 414 bar (6,000 psi) and fitted with ½-in. US standard national pipe thread taper connections.
The ship is contracted to Petrobras for use on theBaleia Azul field located off the coast of Brazil in the Campos basin.
