JENNINGS, Louisiana –LEEVAC Shipyards Jennings has launched hull 367. According to LEEVAC, the launch went as planned and the vessel was safely moored soon afterward.
Hull 367, designed by LEEVAC Design Services, LLC (300 DE-52 HAB PSV) is the first of a two-vessel newbuild program forTidewater Marine. LEEVAC says that this is its first launch in the New Year, which marks a milestone for the company as it is celebrating its 50th anniversary.
The vessel is 300 ft (91 m) x 62 ft (18.9 m) x 24 ft (7.3 m) deep, has a diesel-electric plant, and accommodations for 52 persons. It will be delivered during 3Q 2015.
