AL KHOBAR, Saudi Arabia – Directional coiled tubing drilling (DCTD) provider AnTech is now offering services from its new Middle East facility in Al-Khobar.
The company received significant investment from Saudi Aramco Energy Ventures (SAEV) and Calculus Capital to establish the complex.
AnTech claims to be one of only three bottomhole assembly (BHA) providers offering a DCTD service in the region. It adds that this is the first standaloneDCTD workshop in Saudi Arabia.
An SAEV representative said: “Directional coiled tubing drilling services are in great use in Saudi Arabia, and we believe that AnTech’s products will allow DCTD methods to be applied to a wider variety of applications, with lower costs and improved outcomes.”
