CBO orders new ULSTEIN PSV

Brazilian ship owner CBO has ordered a design and equipment package for a platform supply vessel (PSV) of the PX105 type from ULSTEIN.

ULSTEINVIK, Norway –Brazilian ship owner CBO has ordered a design and equipment package for a platform supply vessel (PSV) of the PX105 type from ULSTEIN. The contract also includes an option for two more vessels.

This will become the 11th ULSTEIN design in the CBO fleet, of which nine are with the ULSTEIN X-BOW. The new vessel will be built at Aliança shipyard in Rio de Janeiro, and is scheduled for delivery in 3Q 2016.

The PX105 design is a large PSV with accommodation for 23 people. The vessel will be 88.9 m (292 ft) long and 19 m (62 ft) wide, and has a cargo deck area of about 940 sq m (10,118 sq ft).
