    Cape JV wins service contracts for Shah Deniz

    Cape (LON:CIU) has received multiple contracts valued at a total of $65 million in Azerbaijan through its joint venture with the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR).

    LONDON –Cape (LON:CIU) has received multiple contracts valued at a total of $65 million in Azerbaijan through its joint venture with the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR).

    The joint venture has won three contracts inAzerbaijan for the supply of services to projects that are part of the development of the Shah Deniz field.

    The joint venture agreement with SOCAR was formed in 2010 and is 51% owned by SOCAR and 49% owned by Cape.
