Statoil contracts Norway service base needs

Statoil has awarded service contracts for seven bases in Norway with a total value of $641 million.

STAVANGER, Norway – Statoil has awarded service contracts for seven bases in Norway with a total value of $641 million. They carry a firm duration of six years, with options to extend up to 10 years.

NorSea Group will be responsible for terminal and warehouse services, storage, and pipeline handling at Dusavik in Rogaland, Kristiansund in Møre and Romsdal and Hammerfest in Finnmark county. Additionally the group will provide terminal and warehouse services at Mongstad and Ågotnes in Hordaland and warehouse services, plus storage and handling of pipelines in Florø in Sogn and Fjordane.

Saga Fjordbase will provide terminal services at Florø in Sogn and Fjordane. Asco Norge will deliver terminal and warehouse services, storage and tubulars handling at Sandnessjøen in Nordland, supporting drilling activities at the Aasta Hansteen, Norne, and Urd fields in the Norwegian Sea.
