TEL AVIV, Israel – Delek Group says the Movement for Government Quality in Israel has filed a petition against various Israeli government departments and the partners in the offshore Ruth C/360 license.

The claim mainly includes a request for a temporary injunction that instructs the partners to refrain from starting drilling in the license.

Delek says the partnerships will study this and other clauses, examine the implications, and prepare a response.

Israel’s Petroleum Commissioner of Energy and Water Resources has decided to extend the validity of the Hannah/351 license until March 14, Delek adds, in order to complete the examination of data on the existence of a discovery in the license area.

The commissioner also has additionally agreed to extend the validity of theAlon D/367 license until March 31.
