    North Sea CATS trunkline restrictions to continue

    Noreco says normal operations of the UK North Sea’s CATS gas transport system will not resume until the end of February at the earliest.

    STAVANGER, Norway – Noreco says normal operations of the UK North Sea’s CATS gas transport system will not resume until the end of February at the earliest.

    As a result, oil and gas production at the E.ON-operatedHuntington field continues at restricted rates.

    The restrictions were imposed following an incident on the CATS riser platform during a re-start of operations in mid-December.
