Bilfinger wins North Sea maintenance work with Taqa, Apache

Bilfinger Salamis UK has secured new business with a combined total value of more than £100 million ($151.8 million) from clients including Apache and Taqa Bratani in the last three months.

ABERDEEN, UK – Bilfinger Salamis UK has secured new business with a combined total value of more than £100 million ($151.8 million) from clients including Apache and Taqa Bratani in the last three months.

The company will be handling extensive inspection and maintenance activities for these customers. The services include offshore inspection including conventional and advanced NDT; scaffolding access; rope access, coating; insulation; specialist cleaning; asbestos work; norm removal, and passive fire protection.

The contract fromTaqa is for a period of five years, with two one-year extension options, and includes work on all of Taqa’s UK assets - Harding, Tern, Cormorant Alpha, Eider, and North Cormorant.

The contract with Apache is a three-year extension, with two one-year options, and encompasses theBeryl A and Beryl B assets.
