STAVANGER, Norway– Subsurface consultancy Aker Geo is now operating under the First Geo brand.
Aker Geo was formerly part ofAker Solutions ASA, which last year split into two separate companies Aker Solutions ASA and Akastor ASA. As a result of the transfer to Akastor, Aker Geo has been renamed First Geo.
The company providesgeological and geophysical interpretation, petrophysics, reservoir modeling and simulation, petroleum engineering, and well site geology services. It also conducts regional hydrocarbon prospectivity studies and offers a complete earth velocity model – hiQbe – for seismic depth conversion.
