BAKU, Azerbaijan – ABB UK has signed a memorandum of understanding with Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) to develop training for oil and gas personnel in Azerbaijan.
This aims to give the university access to technology and engineering expertise. ABB aims to raise awareness of local graduates of the benefits of acareer in oil and gas control and instrumentation engineering.
The company has run offices in Azerbaijan since 1995. It supports the control, safety and electrical systems for the majority of BP’s oil and gas assets in the area.
The company has more than 90 employees in the country and continues to expand in product supply, systems and service support, and consulting services.
