TEL AVIV, Israel – Delek Drilling says the Noble Energy-led partners in the Tamar project offshore Israel have reported progress on their proposed Tamar Southwest field development.

Following a hearing last week they have agreed with Israel’s Petroleum Commissioner of Energy and Water Resources to continue negotiations concerning the rights of the state versus the rights of the Tamar partners.

Both parties also agreed that the partners would submit an appeal within 30 days to the Minister of National Infrastructures, Energy and Water against the commissioner’s decision not to approve a development via the existing Tamar field facilities.
