CALGARY, Canada – Husky Oil expects first oil in mid-2015 from the South White Rose satellite extension offshore Newfoundland & Labrador.

The company adds that the Hibernia-formation well beneath the North Amethyst field is due to enter production in 3Q 2015.

Elsewhere in the region, Husky and partner Statoil have started an 18-month appraisal and exploration drilling program in theFlemish Pass, including the area around their Bay du Nord discovery.
