KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia – Husky-CNOOC Madura has contracted the joint venture of Bumi Armada Offshore and PT Armada Gema Nusantara to supply an FPSO for the Madura BD field development offshore Indonesia.
The location is roughly 65 km (40 mi) east of Surabaya and 16 km (10 mi) south of Madura Island.
The $1.18-billion contract covers a firm charter period of 10 years with options for five annual extensions. Operations on Madura BD are expected to start in late 2016.
