EMGS enters into data licensing agreement

Electromagnetic Geoservices ASA (EMGS) has entered into a data licensing agreement worth $7.1 million with an unnamed oil company for the provision of 3D EM data from EMGS' multi-client data library in the Barents Sea.

TRONDHEIM, NorwayElectromagnetic Geoservices ASA (EMGS) has entered into a data licensing agreement worth $7.1 million with an unnamed oil company for the provision of 3D EM data from EMGS' multi-client data library in the Barents Sea. The data will be delivered to the client in December. 

EMGS' multi-client data library in the Barents Sea now covers 42,000 sq km (16,216 sq mi), in addition to 10,000 sq km (3,861 sq mi) in the Norwegian Sea and 1,400 sq km (541 sq mi) in theNorth Sea.
