The jacket for theEbok Central Fault Block Extension platform has been installed with installations of the decks and bridge slated for completion in early January 2015 once the wellhead jacket at Okwok has been installed. Once completed, the partners will commence the hook-up and commissioning of the CFBx platform.

The work program at the CFBx will include up to nine new wells drilled and brought onstream by the end of 2015, targeting both producing and undeveloped reservoirs.

Elsewhere at the North Fault Block (NFB), progress is being made in completing the third new producer by mid-December. The forward program at the NFB will incorporate up to an additional five wells by year-end 2015.

In the OML 115 license, Afren and its partner have spudded the Ameena East well with theShelf Adriatic 1 drilling rig. The prospect is targeting 65 MMbbl of gross unrisked resources in zones of prospectivity in the Biafra intervals that are producing north of the acreage, with secondary objectives in the Qua lboe reservoirs equivalent to those at the Ebok and Okwok fields.
