Noble Energy has awarded Nordic Maritime a five-year charter for its DP2 -IMR subsea vessel Mokul Nordic, which is co-owned by MDL Energy.

SINGAPORENoble Energy has awarded Nordic Maritime a five-year charter for its DP2 -IMR subsea vessel Mokul Nordic, which is co-owned by MDL Energy.

Mokul Nordic is a VS470 MKIII subsea service vessel capable of ROV and inspection, maintenance, and repair (IMR) operations.

Mokul Nordic will mobilize to the Mediterranean to start the charter. The vessel will perform ROV operations, as well as environmental and field development surveys, during the five-year charter period.

Mokul Nordic is customized and equipped for ROV/IMR work. The vessel has a 100-metric-ton (110-ton) active heave compensated offshore knuckle-boom crane and built-in swell compensation systems to 2,000 m (6,562 ft) of water depth.
