HOUSTON – Hoover Container Solutions Pty Ltd., a subsidiary of Hoover Group Inc., has moved to a larger and newly renovated facility in Perth, Western Australia, to accommodate its expansion in the region.

The new distribution and service center allows Hoover to provide expanded services while handling all intermediate bulk containers (IBCs), ISO tanks, and offshore equipment destined for oil and gas platforms.

The site sits on more than an acre in the Marine Support Complex in Henderson, a suburb of Perth. It is approved as a washing facility by the Department of Agriculture and is completely funded for approval by the Environmental Protection Agency. The facility should go into operations by late fall.

“Our new location allows us to efficiently and safely clean tanks in Western Australia, which helps us to better serve our customers,” said Paul Lewis, Hoover’s president and COO. “We are eager to expand into Western Australia, and this new location is a reflection of that desire.”

In the future, the facility will also provide recertification, repairs, and maintenance at a National Australian Testing Authorities (NATA) certification level.
